What is Gubbins?

We let you borrow cool stuff to save you from buying it!
It saves you money because you don’t have to pay full price to try this stuff. It saves you space because you don’t have to store anything when you’re not using it. And it helps the planet because there is less waste!

Is everything included in a bundle?

On each bundle’s page, you can see everything that’s included in that bundle. Some bundles might require extra stuff. Like for example, the Football Party bundle includes the beer bucket (among other things) but you’ll have to buy your own beer! 🙂

Where do you deliver?

We are running a first trial in Manchester, England.  If you’re somewhere else but are interested in trying a bundle, feel free to contact us and we will see what we can do.

If you don’t want the bundle to be delivered but would prefer to pick it up let us know on the check-out page. If you come and pick it up a 10% discount will be applied to your order.

Can I modify the content of a bundle?

Unfortunately at this time that’s probably not going to be possible. We are testing the concept and for logistical reasons, we can’t modify the bundles. But if you have an suggestion or would like to see things added to a bundle you can contact us and we will consider it for the future! 🤓

Is it easy to set up the things in a bundle?

Yes! We are really focused on accessibility and we understand that different things can be hard to use for different people. We will always provide online instructions. If you still need help, feel free to get in touch.

Is it safe to order via this website?

Yes, super safe! The connection is secure, and the payment is processed via Typeform and Stripe! If you are still worried, you can call us, text us or email us and we’ll be able to tell you more.

Can you guarantee the things in the bundle will be working and clean?

Yes, we make sure everything is clean and working before giving it to you! The idea is to have the best experience possible so everything should be in good condition.

How long can I keep the bundle for?

The price on the bundle page lets you keep the bundle for 3 days. If you want to keep the bundle for longer, you can add extra days on the booking form.

Do I have to clean the bundle before giving it back to you?

We expect to pick up the bundle in the same condition it was delivered to your door. Most of the things in a bundle should be super easy to clean and we’ll let you know how to clean them.

What happens if something breaks while borrowing it?

If the product has a fault, we will take care of it, free of charge of course. If something breaks because you were not attentive or careful you can reach us and we’ll find a solution. We might charge you for the broken item at the original cost.
Don’t worry, if you take care of everything as if it was yours, everything will be fine 🙂

What happens if something is stolen?

You should contact us as soon as possible.
Please note in that in this case we will have to charge you for the missing item at its original price as our insurance won’t cover it.

Do you do something with my data?

– We don’t sell or share your data. When browsing Gubbins we collect anonymous information like where you are, which device you use, which page you visit or which bundle you click on to be able to improve the service.

– When booking a bundle we use your address the same way, just to see how we can deliver better and quicker. We don’t use your card details for anything other than the booking process or anything related to a missing, stolen, broken item, payment problems and refunds. We will use your email address and name for all of the above and to send you information about your order(s), communication and promotions (ie: amazing discounts). You can opt out of these at any time.
